Jeanie Buss fired her brother so she could hire Magic. Rob Pelinka is a slimey former agent who was almost certainly maneuvering against Magic. Magic is also being completely unprofessional and his tenure as team president was embarrassing. I also do not believe he was grooming Pelinka to take over. This looks similar/worse than what happened to the 49ers when Denise York wrestled control of the club from Eddie DeBartolo.
