To sign Bob, they will need to find someone to take Jones. He is signed for the
Next four years with a 5.75 AAV cap hit.
Bob had a $7 million+ cap hit last year. The Sharks won't be able to afford to tie up $12-14 million of cap space with goalies.
In the regular season, Jones was 50th in save percentage and 37th in GAA. I can't see teams beating down the door for that production at $5.75 million AAV.
I think they are stuck with Jones for the foreseeable future.
