Are Android phones doomed?
The U.S just blocked the worlds 2nd largest phone manufacturer from its operating system, and more importantly Google Mobile Services(GMS). GMS is GMail, Chrome, Google Play Store and a few other services (everything that makes Android usable).
Huawei is racing to get its own OS ready but it's behind schedule and probably won't be ready this year.
Samsung already has its own OS waiting in the wings (Tizen.. already used on its smartwatches).
It makes you wonder if companies like OnePlus, Oppo and others have plans to reduce the risk of losing Andriod OS.
