I parked to go to the Texas game, the rain was coming down hard. My wife called frantic, saying our backyard was flooded and it's coming into the house (we were renting a basement with a the walkout door below ground level). As I tried to make my way back along 820 N., it was a scene straight out of some disaster movie. Branches were falling, my car (a small car) was legitimately being rocked off it's wheels by the wind, trying to drive through rivers of water.

Most of my apartment got flooded, the backyard was knee deep. I even jumped into our window wells up to my waist to bail water.

Turns out the neighborhood builder graded everything wrong, so the entire neighborhood funneled water to our yard.

I did make it to the 2nd half of the game, so kind of a win.
