We got it before Ooma users had to pay the taxes, and got grandfathered in. So we've had a home voip phone for the last 12 years for free. It's worked really well as a backup/I-cant-find-my-phone-Oh-yeah-I'll-call-with-this phone. Plus, my youngest doesn't have a cell phone yet and calls her friends on it.

At any rate, I'm veering off topic. I have an Ooma home phone, and that's the number the telemarketer called on. If that keeps happening, it might be time to finally go cell-phone only.
