3 of the next 4 are on the road, including back-to-back long road trips.
I just wonder about the mental state of an 0-4 team and how they get any momentum going.
The first road game is at Toledo who isn't awful and road games are by nature more difficult.
South Florida isn't an abysmal team and they have the kind of talent and speed that we tend to struggle with. Plus the game is on the East Coast where BYU hasn't won since 2014 (UConn).
Come back to a decent Boise St team at 0-6 and who knows how you respond.
And Utah St would just love to put us at 0-8.
An 0-4 start would be extremely difficult to come back from to salvage anything of the season.

If we start 0-4, we're not stopping at 0-4. If we go 0-4, we're not winning until game 9 w/ Liberty at home.
