Summiting Everest today is an empty accomplishment. Pay a huge sum to climb fixed ropes Sherpa had the skill and courage
to set up for you, so you can (if you avoid these growing dangers) proclaim to the world your amazing feat. Those who attack K2, #respect. I read Ed Viesturs book on K2 years ago and every tale was gripping.
