I’m with you. Grew up in a place not near the coast and hated seafood.
Mostly cuz my family never ate it.
Now I live on the coast and will try it occasionally and still don’t like it. I used to think it tasted nasty, now I just don’t think it tastes as good as chicken / beef / pork, so I still don’t order it.
