The top baseball players are all on the top 10 youth travel teams in the state but then split up onto 70-80 different HS baseball teams. For instance our youth teams was comprised of the most of the top players from AF, LP, and PG and we weren’t even the best youth team, top 5 but not top 2. The top team was made up of kids from AF, LP, PG, Skyridge, Spanish Fork, Juan Diego, and Desert Hills. Another top team had kids from Bingham, Jordan, Riverton, Cottonwood, Herriman, and Spanish Fork.

And they were all the best players at those schools. So when they get to HS it is a step down in competition.
