Formerly known as The Basketball Friends, but their group goes all the way back to TrueHoop at ESPN. They were acquired by the Athletic a few months ago and now all their basketball content is exclusively available on the Athletic app.

The main basketball people they brought over are Zach Harper and Dave DuFour but now they have access to all the Athletic guys, so they have a show hosted by Sam Vecenie and Joe Vardon, another by Ethan Strauss. Ethan’s show in particular is one of my favorites.

They do a really good daily recap called the Daily Ding that comes out every morning. It’s usually the first thing I throw on when I wake up. The production value alone on their pods is worth an Athletic subscription. I highly recommend checking them out!
