Remember how CB was shaking in its collective shoes about Khalil Tate all last summer?
Or how Johnathan Taylor and that Wisconsin O line was going to own us?
Or the year before (Tanner’s junior year) when I for sure would have bet anything we were more likely to be 9-4 than 4-9?
College football is predictable in the aggregate but very difficult to predict in the details because of the limited number of games, the physical toll of each game, the impact one game can have on the next, coaching switches, etc.
If it’s fun for you to predict, then do it. I’m not raining on that parade. It’s a long off season. But sometimes I sense genuine worry about 0-4 or genuine argument against the 4-0 crowd and I hope everyone realizes early season college football predictions are an actual crapshoot.
Sometimes feels like the predictors are like McGregor’s crowd (making a show for the sake of entertainment) and the respondents are the Khabib crowd (taking everything literally and getting hurt as a result). Particularly the yewts.
