It’s a love/hate thing. I loved the show, plenty of my friends had no use for it
The main themes (from my perspective) are wickedness never was happiness and the beauty of creative genius in action.
Also helps a lot if you like U.S. History, as it gives a bit of flavor to what it was like for some in the 60’s.
