Teams need stars, but the veteran role players get you over that hump. Every championship team has them. They are usually past their prime and sometimes even a shell of their former selves, but still play crucial roles. They're nice adds to go with a Leonard, and they already had one veteran star, plus a few solid draft picks of their own. Good recipe. Not good enough to beat the West, but good.
