In fact, most Ute fans I actually know are respectful. Maybe it's because I don't live in Utah.

Part of what I like about CB is that it's not just an echo chamber. It is in some ways but there is a fairly wide array of opinions on nearly every topic. Sure, it does tend to slant significantly to the right of the political spectrum and is very blue on the athletic spectrum but people are generally respectful, even the few Ute fans. There are some trolls for sure but I prefer the ability to ignore them rather than having someone else censor them.
