If you've only got a few hours skip kinkakuji. It's a major tourist trap.

Nijo is cool. It doesn't seem like all that much until you remember how old it is. I like Fushimi Inari too. A couple of hours is tough to take in all that much, unfortunately.

I'm not in Kyoto, but Kinkaku-ji (Golden Pavilion or Temple) was worth it
