And I realize that Weah and Soto are with the U-20s, which is good because they are doing so well, but I'd like to see Soto capped. Here's hoping I guess. As for Julian Green, call me crazy, but I've thought he's been better when playing for the national team. He was pretty terrible in the beginning besides the world cup goal, but the last few times I've seen him, I've really liked the way he's played.

As for Gall and Novakovic. I'd like to see Gall get a chance as you mentioned. I think Novakavich needs more of a chance. I thought Bobby Wood was really bad with the national team until he wasn't anymore and then he started being great. I could be wrong, but I feel that could happen with Novakovich.

I think what it really comes down to is this, since the world cup failure and with the uninspiring performances of late, including but not limited to last night, I'm just down on US soccer. I want more players who have gone outside of MLS. It's probably just an overreaction. More than likely really. I just feel like I've been waiting for the US to actually get to have a good soccer team rather than a marginally okay one. At least we have the ladies I guess.
