Look for new family SUV. We've had a Ford Flex the last several years, but 2019
is the last year they are making them.
I really wanted to get a Subaru Ascent..we went and looked at them today, but my wife feels they just aren't roomy enough. I like all things I've read about them in regards to quality and reliability. I think the Flex had the most passenger and cargo capacity of the mid-size SUVs so my wife has gotten use to it.
A minivan isn't our first choice, but we aren't opposed to it out of practicality either.
I like the Toyota Highlander, but I believe it's even smaller than the Ascent, so that likely won't alleviate my wife's concerns.
Any other suggestions I ought to be considering?

If you want a roomy SUV, your list should be Tahoe, Expedition, Suburban, Sequoia. If you want smaller than those,
