if you are day tripping or quick over nighter, it's easier to pack your hotel room shorts and t shirt than your suit for
any meetings. i routinely will pack a small carry on with extra undies a pair of shorts, shoes and t shirt with a small toiletries bag.
Packing a suit plus airplane wear plus shorts t-shirt etc isn't very practical in most cases
