And we hit Glenn canyon, Montezuma's castle, and an air museum along with a few other ruins on the trip.

South rim is awesome, but a ton of people. I couldn't do the Grand canyon for more than a day, the other stuff I'd love to go back.

I was 8 when I visited the North Rim. I remember a storm and a path with no railing and the wind nearly blowing me off.

We hit in the shadow of a rock while the storm blew by and my mom prayed we'd not fall and then we.sped across the narrow spot hoping not to be blown to our deaths.

Still a cool memory, though. :).
