My early morning airport story.
I found out at the airport this morning that if you are taking your son to Belize, the mother of said child must get a document notarized giving you permission to take him out of the country.

Miraculously, we found a notary at 4:00 in the morning and found a new flight at 8:00 AM. My wife was happy to crawl out bed and go to the notary and drive 1.5 hours to the airport.

I may be in the minority, but I didn’t know about this policy. Also, this is the first time have traveled outside the country alone with one of my kids. I wish United would have sent me an email notifying me of this policy.

Live and learn I guess.
