so there is plenty of money for such things if they were willing to use it. I'm of the opinion that BYU's powers that be prefer to run a multi million dollar surplus than to use that money to enhance athletics. And that is hardly a far fetched claim since that is exactly what they are doing, running a surplus and not using the money for those sorts of things.
