I hope Tom doesn’t allow ESPN+ to be part of the new deal. I realize many of you
would like that so that you could see games for cheap. But, there shouldn’t be games exclusive to ESPN+ . . . that’s what BYUtv is for. ESPN+ is for games no one cares about . . . Look at any ESPN+ games and I couldn’t care less about those matchups.
Sure, “things” could move in that direction since more and more people are streaming, but linear TV is still where the exposure is and I’d rather be on ESPNU at 10:15 ET than 3pm ET on ESPN+ . . . for the good of the program.
ESPN+ should be used only when games are also on BYUtv.
