Sure. This also applies to pretty much every single team in college football.
If you did the same analysis for any given program, you would see that the overwhelming majority of their wins and record-breaking performances come against teams *not* ranked in the Top 25. And when they do play against Top 25 teams, their winning percentage and overall statistics take a significant dive. This is not something unique to BYU.
