A new granddaughter was born last Monday
And for various reasons, we hadn't seen her before yesterday other than a quick 30 minute visit in the hospital.
My son and his wife came to my house yesterday with my new granddaughter (along with my 5 year old grandson) so that my parents, who were also visiting, could meet her.
It was a great day.
My son also asked me to bless his new daughter in church. His wife had been extremely against any association with the church so it was a pleasant surprise.
