I was very aware that, even as a grown adult in my mid-40's, I am not responsible enough for AirPods. But my family thought otherwise and got them for me for Fathers Day.

I was convinced that I would lose them. But I made it all the way through the first day without doing so.

This morning (Day 2) I looked around to find them and couldn't, but I knew they were at home somewhere. While sitting at work I realized they were probably in the pockets of the shorts I wore last night after work, so I texted my wife. Too late - they had already gone through the wash.

Apparently the light still comes on when you open the charging case. We'll see if they survive . . . (sigh)
