It really is getting old. You keep citinfg as your reasoning that the coaches who all have contracts running out after the 2020 season all have already gotten extensions.
How many of these coaches that got extensions had a 4-9 season in their second season as head coach? I would venture to guess, none.
How many of these head coaches who got an extension how do you program in 2017 that seemed to be out of control and wandering aimlessly?
Kalani preserved his job with the turnaround last season, and while I do think that the program is headed in the right direction, coach Sitake needs to prove that the program is still moving in the proper direction.
I normally really enjoy listening to your show but this continual talk about an extension is getting old and starting to sound whiny.
Listening to coach sitake interview on ESPN 960 this afternoon, and all I could think was how much I want him to succeed. But 2017 was still pretty awful and Kalani needs to prove further that he has righted the ship and has the program going in the right direction.
