I was cringing at some of the smack talk directed at Utah. I mean, how could our guys have any room to say anything when it has been so long since BYU beat Utah?

Well, I have changed my mind about the whole thing, and now I am fully on board with the Ute smack. I feel like to a certain extent if our guys shy away from that kind of talk, then it shows that they really don't believe they can win that game. In most aspects of life, overconfidence is bad- most aspects except sports. I want the athletes on the team I root for to be confident to the point of almost arrogance, because it shows the drive they have to be great. I really don't give a crap if it ends up as bulletin board material for Utah, either.

Personally, I am still unsure about whether BYU wins this game, but if our guys are confident that it will happen, then I'll come around and declare the victory.
