Hi-Point (maker of super-duper quality firearms!) held an online competition to name their upcoming 9mm design. Yeet Cannon, or YC-9, was winning the vote. Then inexplicably, Hi-Point omitted YC-9 from the list of finalists and made the internet mad. Then even more inexplicably, Heckler and Koch jumped in on social media to egg on Hi-Point and said that they would rename a MK23 as YC-45 and do a photo shoot with the Hi-Point YC-9 if Hi-Point named it that.



So Hi-Point backtracked and announced that the final vote will be YC-9 vs the winner of the last round. H&K responded confirming their offer for a photoshoot with a YC-45.
