Neither are small. One lost its team due to the baseball strike in the
90’s and stadium issues, the other just has a really really bad ballpark. The other sports in both markets are flourishing in terms of attendance and revenue.
Build a new ballpark, a nice ballpark, in Tampa and they would be fine. Build a new ballpark, a nice ballpark, and put a team in Montreal and they would also be fine.
