So where does BYU get all of its revenue?
If we believe the data (which I do) BYU has roughly $80M in revenue. So where is all this money coming from when you compare it to other similar schools? We guess the ESPN deal is anywhere from $750K to $2M a game. So the ESPN money may not be as big a chunk of the total revenue as some would suspect.

But we constantly complain about how our fans are cheap, BYU tickets are relatively cheap, concessions aren't kept by the AD, BYU fans don't buy gear. So where is all the money really coming from? Especially when you compare BYU to other schools that get a student subsidy of $10M+ and conference bonus of $10M-$20M you have to wonder how BYU gets its money.

Maybe the cheapness of BYU and its fans it just folklore? Is there a hidden stipend coming to the AD through BYUTV from the university?
