When the program is firing on all cylinders, the atmosphere at Lavell Edwards is unlike anything else.
Not saying necessarily better. Definitely not the loudest or most rabid fan base. But it can be really unique and distinct in very good ways while serving as a first rate football venue.
Never had anything worse than a speeding ticket, and I would like to see my streak of avoiding prison continue. That said, I can certainly relate to keeping an attachment to BYU, particularly the athletic programs, while my views and relationship with other things regarding the church have continued to evolve.
I’d expect that stadium is the happy place for a good many folks, active, inactive or otherwise. Not uncommon when BYU sports is the fondest, if not the strongest, tie people maintain to the church when others fade. Here’s hoping for a banner year in 2019
