The AAC gets us more exposure in the east, boosts our basketball profile, and gets us a very good conference to play in. Personally, I've always wondered what would have happened to the old MWC if Utah, BYU, and TCU would have locked arms and stayed. That was an excellent football and basketball conference. The current AAC is everything that the old MWC was (with a little more driftwood, but still). If BYU can convince Boise State or even Colorado State or Air Force to go East, that conference could be a lot of fun. And if it's not what it's cracked up to be, back to independence we go!
