I used to kinda sorta help this 85 year old friend of my dads. I would take him
to lunch sometimes, take him gambling to Mesquite sometimes, whenever my dad couldn't. He ran movie theaters for Paramount from the 40s to 70s when movie studios owned theaters, mostly in New York, LA and Salt Lake. I would have some great conversations with him. He often said he didn't have any regrets in life. That shocked me. I often regret what I did yesterday. But I realized some people are that way. I guess if you dug deep down those people could find some things that bothered them, but they legitimately live life with a confidence and assurance that I just don't have. I'm sure some of you do.

Having said that, I have a close friend who I think generally lives that way. Is so sure of his way, and generally has worked out for him. But he often comes across as a selfish jerk, especially to his wife. But he is successful and seemingly has it all. Would I rather that be my life? I don't think so.

Life is wonderful because we are all so different.
