were in town. This is back in the day though, when it wasn't nearly as crowded and you could walk right into Disneyland without charge and you could buy a ticket book for the rides. In high school, a kid in the ward had a sweet van conversion with a bed in the back and a diamond porthole window. His license plate was E TCKT. (for you young guys, the ticket books had A-E tickets in them and the E tickets were for the very best rides). I'm sure the ward moms were pretty stoked about that.
Mormon night at Disneyland and Magic Mountain was basically Tinder (or Mutual) for our generation. Met quite a few Laurels and Mia Maids.
