1. Let's be real, UCF went undefeated in a G5 and did not get a sniff at the CFP. Indy provides us with more money and more exposure than AAC, but BYU HAS TO WIN!
2. BYU is a far bigger brand than any AAC team.
3. How many AAC teams have an independent multi-year contract with ESPN even in down years?
4. How many teams have the capacity to produce HD content on their own station which is often utilized by ESPN, or work in tandem with ESPN.
5. Win games (10-2 or 11-1) and NY6 games will become a reality.
6. Conference championships, or all-conference recognition doesn't mean much unless the conference championship is a P5 conference.
7. UConn just left the AAC! UConn! for greener pastures, and yet some want us to go to the AAC.
8. The MWC has no quality TV scheduling. Been there, done that. No desire to go back to playing Wyoming, UNM, UNLV, etc on a home and home in conference. I realize we have some games against them, but Heir Thompson cured me of ever desiring to return to the MWC.
9. People talk about losing the first or second games and there is nothing to play for. Then WIN the freaking games! Oh, but if you lose the first two games and are in the AAC or MWC you still have the conference championship to play for. SO WHAT!
10. Win NOW and position ourselves in college football relevance once again.
