I've taken flack for this in the past... but I stand by my statement: Most kids don't look at the schedule at all.

Kids will pick the school they feel will give them the best opportunity. For the majority, it will be the opportunity to actually play rather than spend 4 years on the scout team. For a rare few its academic opportunity.

I know a kid who had P5 offers but picked a DII school (Colorado School of Mines.. he also just graduated and is making more than me now).

What most people forget is that recruits are rarely fans of the schools that recruit them.
