I believe it, unexploded ordnance all over Europe and the Pacific. Some buried
beneath by explosions, some even booby traps. More common than people realize. Especially SE Asia, hundreds of kids a year lose legs to landmines etc in Vietnam, Laos, Cambodia etc., stuff both sides left behind.
