SDSU, Air Force, CSU, and even Utah State basketball (I know they were good last year) are all down from where they were during the MWC glory days.

Comments like: "we left a conference that was stronger than the AAC is now" surprise me. The MWC was crumbling at the time, and the MWC now is basically what the WAC was after we left it. It's not the same as it once was.

I'm not saying BYU should join the AAC, but maybe we do underestimate the positive impact that good BYU teams can have on a conference. The AAC is not a P5 conference, but their brand instantly becomes much more respectable with BYU in it.
