I was actually impressed....
Maybe because my expectations were low (key to a happier life), but I was actually impressed. As mentioned, the bathrooms weren't operational yet but the cinder block wall, instead of railing in most places, was painted blue and it had a nice concrete cap on it. The convenience of being able to walk all the way around the upper level, along with additional restrooms and food choices will be really nice. The people that normally sit in the lower sections are gonna really appreciate the newly found elbow room and shorter lines for the concessions and restrooms.

In addition, the corners are larger and cover more square footage than I expected. In my opinion, standing against the railing of the corners would be a fantastic spot to stand and watch a game, if BYU ever allowed 'standing room only' tickets.

The thought also crossed my mind that, since this is BYU and SO many small kids come to the games, they could potentially cover the corners and either add multiple large television screens, so parents wouldn't miss any of the action, and/or add some sort of play area with a rubberized matting for the kiddos like some major league stadiums do.
