I do think it's interesting that the government owns and regulates the selling of alcohol in this state. It's not a very conservative or libertarian policy. From what I understand, they jack up the prices- big time- as well. We have a woman who lives in our neighborhood who brings back a couple cases of wine, every time she visits her daughter in California. (She asked me to help her unload it one time. She's like 70-ish. Catholic. Very nice.) Apparently, it's half the price down there, and you can buy it at Target.
