or do anything to try and at least become part of the community. He could have just shown up when it’s time to report and played and not don’t any to be more than a player in a city. He appears to be one of the guys that gets it, that knows that if he’ll at least make an effort to be part of the community while he is here that the experience will be better for both himself and the fans, and the team as well so putting in just a little bit of an effort to be part of things really pays dividends.

Now we can be cynical and assume he is just being a self promoter, and that is probably some of it because how these guys present themselves certainly contributes to their financial opportunities in more than just basketball, but that guys that understand that putting in a little bit of effort benefits them but also makes the fans and community happy are the guys who tend to enjoy themselves while they are in a place and also find it is easier to live there.

He just shows he is smart and also that he is probably a guy that wants to have a good experience and give others a good experience and that is commendable.
