That chance was created in large part by Jozy, though. He should have scored, but
put other players currently in the US pool in his place and the chance on goal just doesn't happen.
And that's not even his primary responsibility, despite nominally being a striker. His main role is to play hold up and pass the ball to create opportunities for the wingers doing angled runs into the box. And he was really good at that today, as usual.
Folks that look at Jozy and expect a goal scoring machine are not looking at his role in the bigger picture. He's the USMNT's Karim Benzema.

Yes. His hold up play was better than anyone on the field, he created chances, won aerial duels, passed well.

You can hate Jozy all you want, but he's far and away the US's best option there. So unless you are proposing some other
