I've always heard bad things about nicotine, but now I'm reading that nicotine isn't much different than caffeine, and that people would smoke cigs for the nicotine but die from the tar.

So I'm curious what are people's thoughts on these new products? Are they a game changer in terms of saving lives. As someone who detests smokers and vapors for that matter, the idea of a smoke and vape free world intrigues me. I guess they are extremely popular in Scandinavia and studies show they have much lower rates of cancer than other European nations. Is nicotine really comparable to caffeine?
