Anyone who knows anything about the Mysterio character from the comics (or in my case the 90s cartoons) likely saw the "twist" coming from a mile away. If you knew nothing about the character then I could see how it could be surprising.

Right, but DC has zero with any real motivation. The heroes are largely the same
