Ever since I discovered if I click on the "COUGARBOARD" logo on the top left of the window it will take me to Home page

Yeah, that bugs me sometimes as well. On the desktop, you can double click it.

Just bookmark page 1 of the board and go there. Should save you the step.

Still requires 2 steps, right? Have to click to get to your bookmarks, then click it.

On Android you can put individual bookmarks on your home screen
