Go on the coloradofans forum - The torque converter is a known issue. I have the
Duramax, which fortunately has a better transmission but there are other issues i've had.

Most recently the drivers seat is showing weird wear and the backseats have split seams (I have a large dog that stands back there) and it's being replaced under warranty (I'm at ~24k miles)
