Lots of teams had phenomenal off-seasons
The haul OKC got for Paul George was incredible, so I would have a hard time giving it to the Clippers who I think gave up too much for Paul George.

Getting Kawhi was obviously great, but I'm not convinced they are as dangerous as many think and have mortgaged their future to get to where they are.

I like the Conley fit for Utah, but I am worried the injury prone elder statesman has at most one good season in him. Bogdanovic was also fine although I think there are redundancies with Ingles. Green, Davis and Mudiay were cheap so they were good.

I thought the Lakers did what they had to, but I struggle to think it will actually work out. Lebron is really old in basketball terms and AD has yet to prove to be a winning player in his NBA career.

The Pelicans made out extremely well from a bad situation so I might give them the A. The only problem is I am not as high on Ingram and Ball as many are. I think they peak at average NBA players. Ingram put up stats late, but on a losing basketball team (ala Mudiay in New York).

Brooklyn got two players it was coveting, but Irving is a problem waiting to happen and Durant is a year away.

Memphis actually faired extremely well this off-season. They got their aging star off of the books (for a team that is not intent on competing immediately) and replaced him with a really interesting prospect in Ja Morant (whom the more I have seen of him the more I like him more as an NBA prospect than Zion). In the deal they picked up two #1 picks, last year's #1 pick for the Jazz as well as veterans Korver and Crowder. They picked up Tyus Jones on a really reasonable contract. They fleeced the Suns (who really are clueless) in getting Melton and Josh Jackson (#4 pick just two years ago) and 2 seconds. They got 2 seconds for Delon Wright and a trade exception. They got an asset in a first round pick to go with Iguodala and gave up a two way contract to get them. They traded CJ Miles for Dwight Howard who apparently is intent on trying (I will believe it when I see it, but gave up essentially nothing in Miles).

Ultimately this off-season's A will go either to the team who wins the title because of it: Utah, Lakers, Clippers all fit that bill or if none of them do this year it will go to either the Thunder, Pelicans or Grizzlies who all completely changed their futures by getting a ton for stars.
