I think it’s going to fail. Everyone wants a bigger piece of the pie, or the whole pie. With NBC taking back the office, Warnerbros taking back friends etc. How many people are going to pony up the money to pay for all of the subscriptions for the shows they want to watch? It's also going to be incredibly inconvenient to switch apps to go watch what you want.
I think the $ will be stretched too thin to support high quality content, so the amount of good shows will drop and alot of these streaming services will end up losing money.
The only one I think that could really do damage and make a big profit in the long run is disney. Since they own the world (ESPN, ABC, Fox, marvel, star wars)
