When Thanos snaps his fingers it's supposed to eliminate 50% of people. The movie then shows like 90% of people turn to dust. On the battlefield, the vast majority of Wakandans are dustified. Of the remaining Guardians, only Raccoon survives. Just had to up the drama some I suppose.
