thru trades and free agents for a number of years. The last 6 years they haven't been able to attract anyone. They got LeBron mostly because he wanted to be in LA and they could pay him. I don't think he has ever dreamed of being a "Laker." He has dreamed of living in LA and building his brand though.

They got AD because of LeBron. It will be interesting to see if he enters free agency next off-season and leaves or if he thinks there are enough positives going on in the organization to stay. I don't think the organization as a whole has functioned well for over a decade....and frankly it shows. They need someone with solid basketball IQ and vision for the future. The last person who had that in spades with Jerry West.
